A bit about me

I became a counsellor because there was a time when I so wanted to connect with someone who understood what I was going through. I felt lost, heartbroken and isolated.

Before counselling, I had a fixed idea of who I was. At the time, I didn't realise how limiting that was, and the impact it was having on my mental health.

Going to therapy helped me understand that what I really needed was to be heard, and to be held gently whilst I explored what was troubling me.

It also helped me to develop the skills I needed to grow. To shed beliefs that were restricting me, and navigate what I learned was my authenticity. My own experience with therapy drives my passion to offer that space to others.

When I'm not in the therapy room, I'm a mum, film enthusiast, enjoy the odd crafty hobby, and am sustained by coffee and biscuit fuelled country walks with friends.
